ON YOUR LOVE LIGHT」などは、いろんな人が取り上げていますが、この人が一番でしょう。最初から最後まで全曲良いです。

これは、私はかなり好きです。全体のサウンドも、少し新しいものを感じました。まあ、30年以上前の事ですから、今から考えると、どうでも良い程度のことかもしれません。 見事に連番ですが、この後は5枚ほど、ブランドは無いです。その後はベスト盤を1枚挟み、「Touch of the Blues」となるのですが、まあ、この「The Soul Of The Man」あたりまでが特に好きな頃です。 |

これは、それほど聴いてきませんでしたが、最近改めて聴いたら、実になかなかのアルバムでした。（70年代にまとめて買ったアルバムが多く、どうも真面目に聴いていなかったようです・・）ハイ・スタジオでのレコーディングみたいで、確かにギターはテイニー・ホッジスと思えます。とにかくＣＤでのダブりを見ながら、選んで下さい。

私が聴いているのと、未聴の曲などを考慮して、比較してみましたが、一番上の「The Duke Recordings, Vol. 1」が、最も選曲が良いと思いました。 ※新品が有るかは、確認してください。 それにしても、日本では認知度が低いです。
